Gosnell Abortion Bestseller Confirms New York Times’ Dishonest Bias.

“It sounds kind of crazy but pizza is a motivator.”

That quote is from a video interview with a former Planned Parenthood manager who revealed that Planned Parenthood has abortion target quotas in place. Staff were encouraged to sell abortion with motivators such as a couple of hours of paid time off, maybe a trip to a regional capital for lunch with senior management, (what a blast that would be – I thought these were supposed to be incentives?), and the aforementioned pizza.

How about that? “We need our staff to encourage more women to have us murder their unborn children. What do you think we should give them?”

“Give ’em pizza. That outta do it.”

We’ve had seventy years of historians wailing to the heavens, wondering how it was possible for the Nazis to convince ordinary citizens to help murder so many people. Well, now we know. You just have to give them pizza, or strudel, as I assume was the case in Germany.

Abortion is a hot topic right now – not that you’d know it if the mainstream media is your primary information source. A long-awaited book by Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer entitled Gosnell: The untold story of America’s most prolific serial killer has been flying off the shelves since its release. It sold out on Amazon and Barnes & Noble in just three days. The book tells the story of America’s most prolific serial killer, a killer of babies who was convicted of killing four people (three of whom were babies), but is suspected of hundreds if not thousands more killings over a thirty year period.

I have to confess to being a bit of a McElhinney fan. I first discovered her when I chanced upon her documentary film Mine your own business, which chronicles the despair of a small Romanian mining community who lose their livelihoods as a result of foreign environmental activists doing what activists do, which is to lie and destroy lives for their twisted agendas. What struck me about McElhinney is that she was initially sent there to report an entirely different story but realized the true nature of what was happening. In other words, she is a journalist who has both the prescience to understand motivations and the humanity to act when she encounters rank hypocrisy, which probably makes her an endangered species. She is also a huge player in the fight against climate alarmism and you all know what I think about those mongrels.

But now she has abortion in her sights. Mind you, to call it abortion is somewhat underplaying what is happening. It would be more accurate to describe it as widespread, taxpayer-funded, government-sponsored, industrial slaughter.

The press largely ignored Gosnell’s trial and they are attempting to do the same with McElhinney’s book. The New York Times has excluded it from its famous bestseller list, under the pretext that when selecting the list they need to take some sort of context into account as well as sales. So despite the fact that it was the fourth biggest selling book in the US last week, it’s still not going to make the cut. Which brings to mind Vox Day’s discovery that Tor books somehow knew that John Scalzi’s new release was going to be a New York Times bestseller almost ten months before it was published. Which begs the question – does Tor employ actual soothsayers?

Watching the two women in the above video recount their stories, what struck me was the expression on their faces. It is the same expression; a deadness of the eyes and a vacuity of hope. They know that they have been a party to evil. And they know that no matter what they now attempt to do to rectify it, their acts will haunt them for the rest of their lives. Abortion doesn’t just kill babies – it destroys souls. It corrupts people and institutions. And in the end, everyone concerned will have to live with that. But at least they got their shot at living.
