A couple of days ago, in response to the featured meme, which pilloried the Greens who walked out during Pauline Hanson’s second maiden speech to Parliament, an avid XYZ reader summarised why the pre-planned walkout was so badly thought through:
“Dear politicians, you were elected by Australian citizens and are being paid to do your Job, which involves listening to other politicians (who were also elected by Australians) with respect, not walk out when you have a better offer; please do your jobs or resign and let someone else who will take the time and do their job correctly.”
