Yesterday a Left of centre Facebook friend
asked me “why you would oppose universal equality for mankind” when I expressed I was “not a fan” of Socialist Alternative.
While I’ll admit this hasn’t been the first time one of the inculcated Left has presented me with this cliché question, I feel it a promptly reminder as to what Nobel Prize winning economist Milton Friedman had to say on the matter:
“A society that puts equality before freedom will get neither”
