BBC moves the goalposts

A good spot here from Rod Lampard:

You Woke? – TBTN

When you so woke, you asleep. 😜

It is a funny skit. “I always thought water was racist”. LOL.

At the risk of sounding like one of the idiots in the #woke support group, this is just a little bit hypocritical. The BBC are one of the main institutions responsible for pushing the “politically correct” #woke agenda in the world today.

Don’t expect the BBC to tell the diversity industry to shove their diversity quotas up their fat brown arses. Don’t expect the BBC to shelve all references to “racism“, “homophobia“, “islamophobia” or “toxic masculinity.”

Again, at the risk of sounding like one of the idiots in the video, this is simply another case of gaslighting the SWPL. SBS tried something similarly hypocritical a few years ago.

For the baizuo, the virtue signalling of old is no longer enough, and stand by for new instructions. I almost feel sorry for them. You can have fun. Just don’t expect to be able to transmit your culture or your identity to the next generation, and don’t for a minute think that the next generation is going to look anything like you.

The SBS video is remarkably honest but it’s ultimately meaningless because they will keep pushing the same far-Left victim politics.

  • The Expanding Man

I don’t see it so much as hypocrisy, but rather blatant confirmation that the cultural marxist elite have nothing but contempt for the stupidity of their followers.

I had a career journalist indicate to me that the BBC is the UK branch of Al Jazeera.
What makes this more sad is that, in searching for something on TV on a Saturday morning while eating my wheaties, watching the English Al Jazeera news FAR eclipses anything in Australia that calls itself a “news service”.
When AJ becomes the “best” news service you can find, that slippery slope is so far behind you that you need to grab and sled and start walking back up the hill.

BBC might be taking a leaf out of the koran and doing a bit of a”taqiya”
