Food for thought – Bibi says “No deal” to threats of destruction

Wednesday’s XYZ Quote of the Day stirred that fire of reverence I have for Israel, and its Likudnik Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu. Earlier this month PM Netanyahu tweeted “How does the UN General Assembly react to Iranian calls for the destruction of Israel? SILENCE” (encouraging Twitter followers to “Retweet if you refuse to be silent”).

Well I’ve retweeted and I’m not staying silent on the matter.

Israel, a country exuding in the Western efforts of doing business, grasping the scientific method, administering the law and upholding democratic politics, clearly imbues those virtues we should praise in our allies against radical Islamic terrorism.

With our national broadcaster commonly siding with the Islamic affinity of the unwashed Left in this country, it comes as little surprise that the “tension” in the region is routinely blamed on pro-Western Israel by the ABC.

To quote a response from the late novelist, philosopher, playwright, and screenwriter Ayn Rand:

“If you mean whose side one should be on, Israel or the Arabs, I would certainly say Israel because it’s the advanced, technological, civilized country amidst a group of almost totally primitive savages who have not changed for years and who are racist and who resent Israel because it’s bringing industry, intelligence, and modern technology into their stagnation. When you have civilized men fighting savages, you support the civilized men, no matter who they are.”

Food for thought.
