Rarely am I ever enthusiastic to watch the national broadcaster (aka their ABC), however tonight’s episode of Kitchen Cabinet was different, as the guest was none other than the ripper conservative Liberal senator Cory Bernardi.
Kitchen Cabinet host Annabel Crabb, a prominent political journalist and commentator for the Left-leaning broadcaster, gently pressed Cory about his years before public office (as well as the general topics he is widely known to be outspoken on).
As always Senator Bernardi eloquently conveyed his stance on these topics, and how set positions support civil society. He expressed an opposition to same-sex marriage, opposition to Islam (and more specifically Islamic cultural dress like the Burqa and Niqāb), cultural relativism and the ABC bias.
My favourite closer from Cory Bernardi was when he stated, in so many words that:
‘If I wasn’t regularly being criticised by the ABC I would not be doing my job properly”.
Frankly we at the XYZ couldn’t agree more with Senator Bernardi!
