Just when I thought the best of 2016 had occurred, Aussie businessman and philanthropist Dick Smith comes out backing Pauline Hanson’s One Nation policies (namely, their immigration policy).
Smith, who has stated that the current rates of immigration are “ridiculously huge”, has been focusing on the issues of global population since 2010 (producing this documentary film).
Smith, who was the 1986 Australian of the Year (this goes through my head when I mention that award), has also ripped our future Australian of the Year, Waleed Aly, a new one:

Frankly, if this momentum keeps up, I hope to be seeing Pauline Hanson ascend to Kirribilli House by 2019. Let’s face it, she will be a heck of a lot better than the last redhead in the top job!
