Interview: Motivations for starting XYZ, and the future of the media

20

Last week I made my first foray into the world of podcasts and YouTube videos, when I was interviewed by Matthew Roebuck, who is a student journalist currently studying a Graduate Diploma of Journalism at RMIT. We covered a lot of ground in 30 minutes, touching on my personal motivations for being involved in the founding of the XYZ; why the ABC is a government-funded behemoth which distorts the marketplace; an attempt to summarise what kind of people comprise the right, or those opposed to the left; and the future of the media.

(I would be interested in listeners’ opinions on whether my laughter, which I will attempt to cut down on in future, sounds goofy or evil).
