Certain expressions come to mind when one thinks of a typical panel on an ABC current affairs show – progressive echo chamber, dictionary definition of groupthink, self reinforced bias, all come to mind.
Gerard Henderson, on his Media Watch Dog blog, gave us a another a few days ago:
