Viewer Poll: Should Malcolm Turnbull be sacked as Prime Minister?

27

I like to ask people from time “what are Malcolm Turnbull’s principles?” No-one has been able to answer that one. The general perception amongst contributors to this site, its readers and the wider conservative base is that the traitor Turnbull cares only about his own power.

Reports are circling about a leadership challenge in the Liberal Party, although it must be admitted that for Australian politics this is par for the course. Nevertheless, as the prospect of 30 losing Newspolls in a row looms large for the Prime Minister, it is time to ask the question:

Should Malcolm Turnbull be sacked as Prime Minister?

I’d serve him up with a nice chianti and some fava beans!

  • DallasBeaufort

Vote now and vote true blue

  • Ron Mortimer

Any guesses as to a decent replacement? Peter Dutton maybe, Tony Abbott?

    • Ricky J Butler

The only Liberal Minister I feel I could trust would be Dutton, the rest are Kow-towing left-leaning yes men. Fukn splitters.

    • Bikinis not Burkas

Josh Frydenberg or Tony Abbott after he has had a year of learning to speak fluently at Toastmasters.
They are the only 2 that realize the the rise of Islam in Australia.

He gave Tony a cut off at 30 losing polls. Things have only gotten worse as he panders to the Left. Time’s up Mr. T. Stand aside and let Peter Dutton take the reins He is strong, and knows who in the Party will serve the Party well. It is after all a conservative party. Tony Abbott has experience as a PM so can mentor him well. Would make an excellent Deputy. Definitely not Bishop.

  • Ricky J Butler

Really…..what point is Power if you haven’t a clue how to use it ? This dude is a fukn dud.

  • Daniel Watts

No, may Turnbull be forever remembered as the shyster who gave us a Bill Shorten government. He can own that.

  • Cathryn Cavaney

No, I don’t want to burn any leaders that the Liberals will need to rebuild.

  • thegentlemantroll

Yup. Sink the treacherous stooge and that bitch-lizard Julia Bishop. Let’s start thinking of honorary commemorations: how about The Turnbull-Bishop Sewerage Treatment Facility?

  • DallasBeaufort

No (54%, 2,263 Votes) Yes (46%, 1,933 Votes) does not reflect comments on Facebook, I smell a rat.

  • goat

He should’ve been dumped as soon as the famous ramadan dinner was over.

  • Philip Brooks

A non performer who has achieved little. Has to go.

  • Harry Growth

Is this a binding or non binding opinion survey?

    • TRAITORCJUDD

It’s a ”Non-Core” opinion survey, so feel free to change your mind if an even bigger dickhead gets to lead the Libs into irrelevance and eventually, into oblivion.

There comes a time in a person’s life when it is time to move on – and Turnbull’s time has come. Perhaps he genuinely believes that he knows what he is doing – but results show otherwise. If I were he I would call it a day – satisfied that he has achieved his goal – a goal to become prime minister – and not a goal to advance Australia fair.

As an outsider I want to urge Ozzies to use their votes wisely at the next elections. The only way out of the crap storm is to go center right or right.Get Pauline Hanson into power and take back your country & culture & withdraw from the UN.

  • W. Hunter

Interesting to watch the XYZ poll jump by the tens of thousands…. literally overnight.
Methinks some poll voting script bots are at work !!

  • Gordon McKinlay

I would sooner vote Labor and put up with the insipid Shorten for a term if that is what it takes to remove Turnbull and Bishop.

  • babanapeal .

I would much rather that Turnbull did the honourable thing and pay a visit to the Gap and take a running leap over the edge.

  • Judi Lyons

What have polls got to do with anything. If he’s elected that should be that until the next vote. Regardless of if he is a jerk or not

  • Joyce

as long as the Stick insect spendthrift does not get the job

  • Orbiter007

He should get the flick, but if we think anyone else in the two major parties would be a suitable replacement we’re kidding ourselves.
